The poll question in the OPs poll asks a straightforward question and gets a straightforward answer. It asks whether the rumors they see and hear in the media about global warming suggest it is real or not. It's a different question than whether the person being polled thinks global warming is real or not.

People think it's real, they think the media tells them it's not. They're right in both cases.
