Dangerous fossil fuel waste is destroying the earth's atmosphere. No permanent repository is planned and no such facility is funded. It is believed that any such facilities on a meaningful scale would cost trillions of dollars.
I can't imagine why any one would think this is not a serious issue and that is a joke. Habit maybe?
