55. A 300 point war.
Oh joyful and triumphant! Sing comrade, sing! Oh majestic and victorious! Sing comrade as though your life depends on it! The whole army marches forward in all it's true glory!! Sing louder comrade! Ha, you've forgotten the words? Dismal creature that you are. The Army that defeated national socialism is about to secure the future progress of the Persian Pasha-tans and you don't recall the words? Too busy with the swing in the market? Upset you were not in? Did you short the euro? Sell gold? No bother, it will come around in a few weeks. In which direction no one is sure. The need to prove blood will run is not likely to slow down the advance of progress either. The homeland is to be secured at all costs. It must be secure. Why does this act of aggression secure the land of the man in tan?
This past week the Reformed Orange Growers threatened to destroy the new air defense system reportedly for sale by the Czarists to the Persians. That in effect, they could, if they so choose, use an EPM to blind the sensors of the system. This is a very, very dangerous thing for all parties. Which of course was a direct attack at the businesses of the czarists', the oil market, military equipment sales and political counter intelligence against all things un-red. So what will it take to back down the Reformed Orange Growers? What will it take to assure that Gaul est partes tres and shall stay that way? That oil dollars matter? That having looked deep into his soul, this is a man we could do business with? That all things being equal there's a profit to be made? The balance of terror has swung right before your eyes and all you can say is did you see the rally?
But, but, the euro? The euro tanked? It had to. It had no choice. The global banker's have bought another trillion and a half dollars worth of debt last week. The oil-dollar had to be rescued and on what better day then this? Comrades, this is a moment in history. The party loves you.
