I think Kerry would give his delegates to Dean before, say, Lieberman, but probably not before another credible candidate like Gephardt. It may be the whole Kasey joke, but I think they are not the best of friends. Nevertheless, he's not going to snub the Party for personal reasons. He would also have to be a Senator under whoever got the job, and I can't see him burning bridges. Kerry is a bridge builder in the party, not a polarizer.
