Fruit of the Earth Aloe Gel is available in most drug stores and it's inexpensive, but...

...I got a semi-nasty burn recently while using the outdoor gas grill and, as a result...Googled first aid for that kind of burn.

Depending on the severity of the burn, putting anything on it...Bactine, Aloe, anything...can do more harm than good if you do it in the first 24 hours.

Again, that depends on the kind of burn and its severity...but while I agree with the Aloe, I'd also encourage a brief "wait and see" period before applying anything.
