The only reason I got friendly with people here is that they talked back to me. Then I met some IRL and our friendships were pretty much cemented.

In fact, swimboy is coming over for dinner on Sunday. He rarely posts these days, but he's still my friend.

Just because someone is talkative doesn't mean you can't participate. I'll pretty much talk to anyone. A lot of my chatting with folks goes on via PM because I sometimes get busy and don't see threads.
