You: "Why, thank you! Nice of you to notice. All part of a slight change in attitude and appearance now that I've been promoted to (the top job). Better pay, more responsibility. Look, since I'm now the top dog, I figure I should probably dress the part. Don't you agree?"

Stand there and wait for an answer. When she inevitably agrees, then say, "Alright! Now let's get to work!"

If you want to be treated differently by your co-workers, then you have to act differently.

If not, then just laugh it off. Remember: you ain't doin' this for free.

Oh, and congratulations on your promotion!!!
