It was a wedding gift, which shattered pretty much like my first marriage. I had baked a wonderful casserole, then has I was pulling it out of the oven, the whole thing shattered on me. It was not a very pretty sight. My ex could hear my screams as everything fell on my feet and I had no slippers on. It was summer and hot both in and outside. I am very luck to not have scars, however I will never use a glass baking dish ever again. The dish was Anchor Hocking, not Pyrex. There have been numerous complaints.
