:(

The elevators aren't working in the subway station I use on this end of my commute, so I had to get out of the subway a mile away at City Hall and drive my wheelchair on the streets and sidewalks for that last mile. Fun.

We've got a light freezing rain tonight. I'm always in a lot of pain when it rains, even if I stay indoors. Because of being out in that rain, my Reumatoid Arthritis is kicking every joint I have, and my side-order of muscle spasms in my back and shoulders haven't stopped for the last two hours.

I'm doped up on a full days worth of morphine and I still hurt. Part of that is because narcotic painkillers don't do jack shit for arthritis pain. So I guess it's time to go back on steriods for a few days. :(

A damned fool at work told me a few days ago that I'm "so lucky" that I get to use a wheelchair. She apparently has a bad knee and has to walk. I don't wish pain on anyone, and I don't belittle the pain she's in. But she doesn't even need to use a cane, and she's claiming that I'm the lucky one?
:wtf:

I wonder how well she's handle being in my place tonight.

I've already called in sick to work for tomorrow. If you don't see me online at all, you'll know why. Hopefully I'll be in better shape soon.

Be well! Stay out of the rain. :grouphug:
