The next country the US should invade.....

is Norway.

There are many advantages to invading Norway.

They have that North Sea oil.

They are undoubtedly hiding WMD in all those fjords. (Sweden probably is too, but they don't have the North Sea oil. One country at a time.)

Most of them speak English, so there won't be a language problem.

Most are Lutheran, so you won't have different religious factions fighting over control of the new regime.

Many Americans' ancestors came from Norway, especially people from MN and the Dakotas. Platoons of servicepeople from those states could be sent to occupy Norway. They could look up their distant cousins while they're over there.

I really can't think of any disadvantages of invading Norway.
