If she is the one you want to spend a life with she will be understanding, just might take her some time.

When you truly fall for someone, and they for you, you might hesitate at times on some things but you move beyond that.

I have been with my wife now over 9 years, and we have both taken the bad with a grain of salt - although not always initially. But we loved each other too much to focus on the mistakes.

I don't know enough from your post to comment too much, but I will say 'hold on for one more day' :)
