Her name was Kay Zumwalt, and since she's now dead, I won't protect her identity. She used to make us come in at 7:30 every Wednesday (our work day started at 8:30) for "training" sessions, for which we were not paid overtime. That included such minutiae as stapling documents on the diagonal to be sure that the pages folded over better, etc. She did that same thing about docking people's paychecks when they were late coming in, even if they had worked until the wee hours and didn't file a request for overtime pay. She was a horrible woman, and I did not feel bad at all when I learned that she had passed.
