118. A certain kind of unfinished concrete found in basements
Edited on Sun Mar-04-07 07:38 PM by UncleSepp
Squared off doorways, unfinished concrete, with the wiring running on the outside. I can't be in a place that looks like that, which has kept me from renting and buying in otherwise charming old buildings.

Also, weirdly, marching bands. If I expect to hear and see a marching band, it's fun. I was even in the marching band in school. If I get surprised by a marching band where I don't expect one, it's freakout city and time for Captain Klonopin to the Rescue. If I can only hear the band but not see it, I will do whatever I can to get to where the band is so that I can see it. Seeing it makes it more tolerable. If I can't see it, and it's just the sound of drums and brass floating on the wind... :: shudder ::
I would never intentionally live in earshot of a high school for that reason.
