Reply #11: The first rat I caught in the Have-A-Heart Trap looked like

a small kangaroo, long back legs, light brown in color. The next two were smaller and a dark brown. :shrug: I don't know if they are all rats but I want 'em gone before they destroy anything else.
I didn't turn the kitchen light off until dawn this morning but it was still dark enough for the rat come out of its hiding place to eat the bird seed in the trap. I've turned the light off anywhere from 3:30 until 5:30 and that's enough to bring 'em into my space. I spoke with the real estate manager at little while ago and she said the exterminator would be working with the problem from outside the building ... I'm going to continue setting the trap until I've got a week of being rat-free. :grr:
