Have you ever purchased or do you own a piece of jewelry worth $1,000 or more?

I don't. Even our wedding rings are less than that amount.


I'm wondering if you and others actually own that kind of bling -- Do you wear it day to day? If you own something that expensive, how did you get it and do you carry insurance on it?

Or what's the story? Just curious. Post anonymously, of course. I love bead work and crystal and semi-precious colored gemstones -- I get more compliments on those items than on any diamonds I own.
