on Pat Boone. My father, though, surprises me still. He was scanning channels the last time I saw him, and stopped on some album cut from Norah Jones. He's very blue collar and rarely expresses his own preferences in anything, and I sometimes forget his passion for music. He grew up in New Orleans, and always had accordians, pianos and guitars around the house. Never learned to play any of them, but I'm starting to realize how much he wanted to.
