it really bothers me how the only use for schools these days, and higher education in particular, is teaching kids how to be a cog in the capitalist wheel...seldom is there any learning for learning's sake, cause who the fuck needs to know history or civics or literature because we all know that's never going to put a mercedes in your driveway...

give me a poor nation filled with imaginative brilliance over a rich nation with no soul any day
