For one thing, it wouldn't matter if Craig could drive stick or not. They could easily use a body double for any "shift scenes". They do that in Hollywood all the time, which is why you can have actors who have never touched a piano look and sound like Van Cliburn. It's all in the editing.

Plus, there's been so much Craig-bashing lately. I just don't get it. I'm sorry, but there is no canonical "Bond" look. The James Bond of the movies is so far removed from the Bond of the books they could almost get Gavin MacLeod to play him.
