But here are other "trendy" things that I hate, in no particular order:

-The return of the giant afro. Sounds like a bad horror movie sequel, doesn't it? Looks like one too. :D

-High boxers, low pants. I swear to Bob, I saw a kid the other day whose pants were so low, had he not been wearing boxers, his ding ding would've been on display for all to see. It was actually funny watching him contort to try to reach the bottom of his pants pocket to finance his corndog purchase.

-The low back/high ass tattoo. Actually, I don't hate these per se, but when it gets to the point that EVERYone has them, they lose their appeal. Really, how many butterflies, seashells, & tribal designs above someone's asscrack do you have to look at before they're completely passé? An aside: A friend of mine refers to these as "goalposts". (figure it out)

-EXTREME everything! Especially hated when spelled "X-treme". C'mon! Not everything is extreme. Street luge? Extreme. Mountain Dew? NOT Extreme. Obvious marketing ploys? Extreme. Ugly sunglasses? NOT Extreme.

-Modded economy cars Civics, Neons, Cavaliers, etc. with chrome wheels, silly paint jobs, "Type R" (whatever that is) stickers, wings, neon lights inside & out, clown noses on the grill, fishing lures on the bumper, big stuffed Hello Kitties on the roof.....ummm..OK, I made a few of those up, but you get the point. Not cool. Dumb.
