7. Nope, just a law student
...though one who is doing quite well, I might add.

Being a law student, however, doesn't mean I know less than someone who has passed the bar, as sad as that may sound. You would be amazed at how many lawyers and judges I've encountered who really have no business practicing or serving on the bench.

When you have to explain the concept of dictum to a state appellate court judge during a Moot Court Competition, something is terribly wrong with the state of our legal system.

But I digress. I deleted that original message because it might be taken as an insult by some of those legal laymen who have attempted to expound on the law. Please don't.
