6. Until they need it
My Repug Sister in Law was going on about her daughter the other day. Now mind you, the 19 year old daughter of this Christian, right wing woman is currently pregnant out of wedlock, by a convicted felon no less who has no intention of taking care of the baby.

So this paragon of virtue I am unfortunately related to by marriage starts in about all the "programs" she thinks her daughter will qualify for to help her along. My response was: "You're welcome."

her: "Huh?"

me: "You're welcome, I thought I heard you say thank you"

her: "Why would I do that?"

me: " It's because of liberals like myself that we have these *programs* to take care of your bastard grandchild. If it was left up to people who vote your way, they would be out in the cold or in some slave labor camp somewhere. But that's ok, just keep cussing and damning us to hell and voting like you do, you people will manage to destroy everything we built in this country. No, don't thank me, I wouldn't know how what to think about that anyway."

her: <dumb look, cue crickets>
