3. I got Dish and love it
Got it many years ago and just upgraded. One plus for Dish is FreeSpeechTV (channel 9415). Great left-wing stuff, especially DemocracyNow with Amy Goodman. Real news. Plus lots of other good stuff. Have heard some great discussion on UCTV (Cal. university), plus other 'out there channels'. My son-in-law has high speed cable and doesn't get near the variety we do. Got like 15 HBOs & some other stuff for + local for $65/mo. Seems like a lot but my wife's disabled & loves her movies.
