I think that Deep Space Nine was the best series because of the wonderful story arc the writers developed. The characters, even originally minor ones like Garak and Damar, were so fleshed-out by the end of the series. I think Garak is my favorite character in all of Star Trek (besides Spock of course).

The Next Generation was the first Star Trek series I watched. I think it's a wonderful show. Patrick Stewart is such an incredible actor, and some of the scripts just blew my mind. Will Riker is my least favorite Star Trek character, though he doesn't bother me as much as he used to.

The Original Series is enjoyable in an entirely different way. The shows are campy and silly a lot of the time, but I love Spock and McCoy, and, I have to admit, Kirk has grown on me over the years (I used to HATE him, but now I have a certain fondness for him).

Even though I like quite a few Voyager episodes, I was highly disappointed with the series as a whole. In my opinion, the writers dropped every interesting storyline that they ever came up with! There was no continuity in character.

I haven't seen enough Enterprise to rank it compared to the others. I love Scott Bakula (I'm a big Quantum Leap fan), so I've liked what I've seen. It has a nice look to it.

Of the movies, I like First Contact the best. I also like The Search for Spock, The Voyage Home, and certain scenes of the fifth movie (I usually watch it on tape so I can just fast-forward to my favorite parts).

Kirk, having just watched Sulu kick some alien's ass, says, in this (I'm not kidding) flirtatious voice, "You'll have to teach me that some time."

Sulu, in an equally flirtatious voice, answers, "It doesn't just take physical strength. You have to be *inscrutible*."

Kirk stares at him for a second and then says, leering, "Why, Mr. Sulu, you're the most *scrutible* man I've ever met."


I thought I was crazy, but I showed it to some friends, and they all agreed that it was full of innuendo. Anyway, it kept me entertained for a while.
