They consistently elect Dems to their city offices. It's the suburbs that tend to be conservative. And they've got that blasted AM radio station 700 WLW (or Dubya L Dubya I should say) that cranks out conservative propaganda and spreads it to wherever its 50,000 watt power range will go, giving the rest of the country that racist redneck impression.
