If this woman is guilty, then she should be held accountable for her actions because her behavior was not only illegal but unethical.
One of the big reasons why it is unethical for a teacher to have sex with his or her student is because of the power that teachers have over their students' lives. Teachers can make their students' lives a living hell if they so desire. For this reason, teachers should behave like professionals and not view their students as potential sex partners.
