18. "Old-fashioned keyboard?"
While I still use a keyboard for my desktop computer (my only computer) I've read that the older IBM-PC keyboards are the ones to find. They're the workhorses of the keyboard world, not giving up the ghost easily or quickly. I'd love to have one, to go along with my 6x8 Wacom tablet. That's graphics tablet, not "tablet" computer :D

I'm one of those handful of people out there that really has zero use for a laptop. The only thing that comes close is my AlphaSmart Dana word-processor and it does use a 'laptop' keyboard. But, I'm not carrying either my primary computer (or even a secondary computer if I had a laptop) around with me that way. If I lose the Dana, I only lose whatever I've written that day, and not two days worth of reloading graphics and maintenance software, not to mention gigs and gigs of lost data ;)

Oh, as I'm sure everyone else has mentioned, Windows 7 is supposed to be quite good. Avoid Vista and the upcoming Windows 8 at all costs!
