One of my dogs just told the other: "I love you."

They were playing head bite on the floor and they sort of lay in each others arms. They gently bite each other's necks and lips and they sort of sing back and forth to each other. And I was sort of tuning it out but then the female said "aye-ruv-ewe" (!) and that got my attention. it was fairly clear.

They are littermates and the female is more verbal than the male. She has this funny little voice and he has a wider range. He does a kind of didgeridoo low thing some times. Both do the kind of singing you hear from coyote pups.

I'm crazy? ..well here is the female saying "go away!" She was waking up and she does all this cute stuff so I have the camera right in her face and she says "go away!" (click photo for link to 15 second vid at photobucket)
