But I think my students loved it. I showed films and we considered lying, murder, and genocide.

I was at the end of graduate school and very enthusiastic. The thing was that I got to teach the course because the priest who usually taught that section had died over Christmas break, so they had a sudden opening. I had to make something up in a week and I was really nervous. I thought maybe everyone would be very attached to this priest or something.

Then one day the students told me that almost everyone in this section signed up for it because the priest was a drunk and he would show up for 5 minutes and dismiss them. They thought they could get an easy A out of it. Instead they got me!
