* Worked as a pro-dom briefly in college.
* Dated (and had rather kinky sex admittedly) with the daughter of a prominent pro-life and Catholic activist.
* Frequent petty theft.
* Became a Dudist minister just so I could perform gay marriages and cat funerals. (Note that those are not equal IMO...they just happened to be what I was performing.)
* I teach Japanese rope-bondage classes.
* I protest the AETA frequently.
* Coordinated something locally in NYC called "Operation Library Chaff" where I and a few hundred volunteers went to random libraries and checked out watch-listed books in such large preponderances that we generated so many investigation reports that we effectively forced an end locally to domestic surveillance of library records for weeks. It's impossible to screen for seditious behavior or the such when 200 people suddenly check-out Mein Kampf, The Turner Diaries, The Anarchist Cookbook, Mao's Little Red Book, Korans and the writings of social iconoclasts. (I know it seem immature, but I really think freedom requires that they not spy on what we're reading.)

Edit: I forgot...I'm a militant atheist...or actually a non-theist and humanist. I believe in the notions of a godless secular faith in humanity. (This explains why the term "brights" annoys the piss out of me. I'm not, I'm a secular humanist.
