14. Economics aside, I thought Cleveland was very clean and visually appealing.
I had heard horror stories before I visited about what a shit hole the city was.

Driving in from the east on the interstate was smooth, despite heavy traffic. The city has a nice skyline, and the area around the stadium and museums was impeccable.

The downtown area that I stayed in was easily maneuverable, with no trash anywhere.

Driving up Euclid Avenue, the traffic flowed very smoothly, and the area around the Cleveland Clinic looked nice and modern.

Driving WAY up Euclid, you get to Little Italy, which had plenty of old charm.

I don't know...I rather liked Cleveland and found it to be the opposite of what I had heard about it.

Talking to a hotel employee in the elevator...he told me that the city has been cleaned up tremendously in the last few years.
