Yes, like you, my best girl became mine yesterday. She is still in the shelter...she'll be spayed soon. I'm off work, Friday was my last day, so will visit her daily. Her name is Kitty, and I want so very much for her to be my 'Maeve'....She was surrendered, so she's been 'Kitty' to a loving family for two years. I read her surrender papers, and she responds to her name 75% of the time, but Kitty and Maeve are perhaps too different. This is a bittersweet experience for me, and I was too emotional to post about her yesterday.

We'll see about the name....Thank you for your advice...and I'll try to figure out how the site works to get other opinions also. I know you gave the best advice...it makes the best sense of it all. Although I only spent enough time there to scan and register, I know I will be a faithful user...
