I'm now on Fentanyl patches plus morphine pills. The patches provide constant painkiller. The pills are for spikes in pain.
Unfortunately, I'm getting a lot of very heavy spikes in pain for some reason. :(
I'm probably going to need a larger dose patch. I'm trying to minimize the use of morphine because I'm allergic to it. Even with the prescription antihistamine, the morphine makes me itch until I'm raw and can't sleep. x(
We'll work out the right mix. But it's like shooting a moving target, so there's no telling how long that mix will remain right.
