I'm sure that the guys at the council of Trent would have been freaked out by it. Maybe you should join the league and make a donation so that you can drive around being one of those "who live out their love of neighbor through courteous and careful driving, thereby counter - and in a sense, repair - the inconsideration and carelessness so often encountered while on the road." and pimp the minivan with a big old picture of the emblem.
