6. sad part is
that recall elections were a progressive/populist issue a hundred years ago. it was instituted in many states back then, as a reform for the voters to recall incompetant or corrupt officials. however the recall election itself has been corrupted.

btw anyone see Issa crying upon announcing his withdrawl from the election citing "wants to work on the national level to bring peace to israel and the palestinians."

in reality IMO, he spend over a million bucks of his own money, and was going to run, but when arnold decided to run, issa realized he had no shot. what a pity.
