Years ago, I crashed my mountain bike and hit my head on a tree. When I came to, my buddies got me home (I insisted that I was OK and just needed to clean up and sleep). The next morning, I could barely stand up and I was dizzy and nauseated. My roommate ignored my threats and drug me to the ER, knowing that I had crashed on my head the afternoon prior. Not that there was much they could have done at that point, but I suppose it was the right thing to do.
