one of my many bottom lines.
the good cop: the one who told the other cops to stop beating my brother in the parking lot of the police station.
this "good cop's" testimony to the state's attorney: my brother was "resisting." while handcuffed. AFTER being transported and beaten en route.
and yeah, he made sure they took my brother to the ER, made sure he got a few smokes, and was probably a decent enough guy.
but when it came time to talk to the legal system: he clammed up and played ball on the side of the corrupt system.
