decisions from the Supreme Court are way out there sometimes. A perfect example is a decision that prevented anyone in the military from suing the Government (Feres Doctrine). A barracks fire killed some people who couldn't escape in time...the ensuing investigation put the blame on inferior wiring that wasn't installed correctly...and the Supreme Court still said that nobody in the military can sue.
