At least have a tandem jump.
I haven't done it for several years, but I've logged 72 jumps and I remember each & every one of them. There are only two points (for me) that are scary:
1) When they open the door my heart always leaps for some reason. Oddly enough, I'm calm by the time I get near the door.
2) When you're under full canopy, but low enough to see details. That's the point where you're still high enough to die from a fall even though you've had no malfunctions whatsoever. For some weird reason, it's not scary to be falling at around 12000 feet, but 500 feet away from the target always made me nervous.
