#1 NOT SAYIN'. Sorry, I have my reasons...let's just say I prefer the mystery.

#2 NOT (even close to) ENOUGH! but getting older has helped...oh and HETERO

#3 NO RELIGION. It could be argued that my personal understandings about spirituality have supplanted my atheism. I suppose one could further argue that I have a strange "New Age" style religion but I'd counter-argue that I have NO religion at all!

#4a I am not sure that I am known for anything here in DU... this suggests an aspect of popularity, one I am uncomfortable with. I have seen times where the cherished popular types feel the need to run away directly after posting something controversial. This causes a fall from grace, (albeit only in their own minds), and results in the cherished member being AWOL, sometimes permanently. I screw up often enough and could easily become AWOL as well...good thing I am not popular and hopefully my screw-ups go un-noticed!

#4b INSIDE THE LOUNGE: I enjoy snark and trivia here in the lounge. If I learn something new or make a fellow DUer chuckle...well either pleases me to no end! If I can somehow offer up a boost for a fellow DUer here who may be feeling down and out for whatever reason, well I'll do what I can and hope for the best.... sometimes it is hard, but I have also just walked away from them because I know I have nothing to help with...my heart goes out to them none-the-less.
(So call me a "bleedin heart librul"...I'll not deny the charge)

#4c OUTSIDE THE LOUNGE: When I am outside the lounge, there are issues I can often be found posting in:
IMPEACHMENT: I am strongly for this; DEPLETED URANIUM: the very thing which brought me to the Democratic Underground and an issue I am especially passionate over; ANTI-FLAMES: I prefer to put out fires with those I disagree with as opposed to flaming them or allowing my fellow DUers to flame them. It is counter-productive, (I am rarely successful here but that does not stop me); and lastly for my PHOTOGRAPHY: I have enjoyed photography for decades and post often in the Photography Forum as of late. I got a second place finnish for one of my shots in the "Spring Contest" with "Spring was Invented For Little Girls". (It was the one with that darling little girl dancing away from the camera along a dirt road in a field of tulips...I might edit it in here after I post this...just cause...or maybe I won't cause my ego doesn't need to be any bigger than it is...tell ya all what: if asked I'll add it. It actually comes with a great story truth be told! (Ok so I DO have an ego...if you've read this far you don't need me to say anything further to convince you of this....what's a guy to do!)

#5 HOUSE. I live in a house, just me and my trusty pit-bull "Karma" She is snoozing out in the living room on her pillow, dreaming of cats no doubt, (not in a way healthy for cats but "WE" are working on that one). As I type this I have a nice view over my left shoulder of my city in the morning light. It is a lovely morning full of hope and promise! I expect it will be a nice day...one I'll wish on all who read this far!

Well that's "chknltl" in a nutshell....some feel that a "nutshell" is an accurate home for me!

I'm off to enjoy the morning but will check back later in case someone actually responds to this lengthy post. I've procrastinated enough of that morning away just now!
