They've got a very honed sense of self-esteem. You can't chase them around or they won't trust you. But once they trust you, that's it. You've got a little friend for life.
I left her in the care of a friend of mine for two weeks one time. She was sick when I came back. I put her in my shirt for a few days and let her sleep with me at night (she tried to sleep in my hair!) and she was just fine. I think she thinks I'm another sugar glider.
