I basically so the two main DU forums this way. The Lounge is where fellow Democrats go to kick back and discuss completely irrelevant subjects, for entertainment purposes. GD is where fellow Democrats go to kick each other and argue over completely irrelevant subjects, for entertainment purposes. Depends on your mood.

GD is much more useful during a general election, because then we are all on the same page and frothing at the mouths to fight Repubs. Between those times, though, it's just a place to fight other Dems.
