First, here's a hug :hug: Now take a deep breathe.
A few ideas.
1. Many car repairs are easy. Head to the library and get the Chilton's manual and any other car repair books. Start reading when the little one is asleep. You may be able to fix this yourself.
2. Sounds like you are home. Can you barter babysitting services for the car repair or cash? Check craigslist for odd jobs as well. 3. Can you get a job the opposite shift than your husband? At least until you guys get back on your feet.
