We hope Missy is going to be okay too. My sis has always loved dogs but traditionally not felines. Missy, however, has stolen her heart. Deb has even talked about taking Missy to live at her house and for my sister that is a huge concession.
The only thing holding Deb back is she works a lot and doesn't want Missy to be lonely. I told her the simple solution is to take home one of the others too, but she said NO! So for the time being the plan is for Missy to continue to live here with her parents and her siblings, while Debbie will have visitation rights when she comes to our house.
