I have a hard time condemning Lou because staying *is* very difficult. It's like, who to consider more? The person who's dying and needs loved ones--but will be soon be at peace, or the person/people who will have to somehow move on after the death? Difficult.
Just one of the issues the play/film raises, I guess.
