that gets cancelled in a few episodes..

Showtimne did it to us with "Dead Like Me".. It was a fantastic show and only ran 2 seasons.. It was JUST starting to get really good, and they cancelled it..

and that one with Sela Ward..that was a fantastic show too and it got cancelled..

I think I like ensemble shows the best, and of course those are the most expensive to produce because of the numbers of people in them..

Perhaps they need to just announce that a series will run for a specified number of episodes, and give us all a chance to get used to the idea that it will end....and give them a chance to end it gracefully.
