20. Alright, I'll take a whack at this.

I think this dream is largely about your desire for more personal freedom and evolution, but also about residual fears of the changes you have longed to put into motion for a long time (moving to a new place that while beautiful and welcoming is also a little strange--the whole area being vegetarians-only, something that also might be about fears of not fitting into your new world). There may even be an as-yet unrealized wish for more change that you haven't addressed because the changes may feel too radical or taboo for you at this point (wandering off with an enticing stranger who encourages you to do something as rebellious as eating meat although you live in a town where no one does). Perhaps you have not acted on these impulses (if they exist) because you are concerned their risks may greatly jeopardize the gains you have made as the result of the changes you've already made (as represented by the hamburger shack being in a yucky city that is a distinct step down from the other town). Maybe you are afraid of making mistakes in your new and improved future, or repeating any mistakes you've made in your past (as horrific as the spray-paint attack is, that's all I think it symbolizes--fear of having your progress eliminated or undercut in not only bad ways but the worst ways, which is why the attackers didn't just blind you temporarily with the paint, they did it permanently with a knife).
