"The Wild One" was based on an "incident" that happened here in 1947, but none of it was shot here AFAIK.
Just down the road, in San Juan Bautista...

The scenes around the mission in "Vertigo" were filmed at Mission San Juan Bautista. Hitchcock supposedly liked this area.
