everything has really reduced in quality. The standard seems to be - get ther merchandise out the door and very few will return it if it falls apart.

Know someone who works for an electronics company that made THE state of the art test equipment. A decision was made that it was too high quality so they worked on making it less so. They also changed manufacturing to China instead of the US. So far they had one recall because the things started on fire.
Their once good reputation has gone to crap.
