1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
Went travelling in non-English speaking countries, moved to the far side of the world.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Didn't have any resolutions, but may make some this year.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yep, 2 new 2nd cousins, good friend had a wee baby and a few distant friends too.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
No, thank goodness.

5. What countries did you visit?
Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Brazil, Enlgand, Spain

6. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Dysentry and a strange complete body cramp (ended up in argentinian hospital) for a week from vitamin deficiency from the dysentry.

7. What was the best thing you bought?
My plane tickets!!!

8. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder? happier
b) thinner or fatter? about the same
c) richer or poorer? poorer

9. Did you begin, continue, or end a relationship?
Continued and almost ended, there's a treat for the New Year.

10. How many one-night stands did you have?
None

11. What was your favorite TV program?
Six Feet Under but it ended!!! So sad.

12. What was your favorite film of this year?
Maybe Spanglish, Crash...hmm probably some others.

13. What kept you sane?
Who knows??? New people, experiences, cultures, being out of my comfort zone and opening my eyes to the world and finding it is amazing as I expected.



15. Who was the best new person you met?
Could not list them all. Met some of the best people I have ever met in my life. Some other travellers who I am still in touch with but some magic Peruvians, Bolivians and Argentinians who I shared very special and very real momments with.

16. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2005:
Love is not enough.
Life is short, the world is big, live it NOW!
Sometimes small things make big impacts on others lives.
