Spelling errors drive me crazy as well. It's just that I am a good speller (I even won a Spelling Bee in 5th Grade--my crowning achievement--ha ha), but a terrible typist (perhaps one of the worst of all time).
And you know how fast DU moves. Sometimes you forget to hit spell check or are convinced you typed error-free and do not need it and need to get your post up and move on to the next response you need to make. By the time you find out you goofed, it may be too late to edit. Then you're sunk.
I wonder if Skinner et al. could set the board to automatically spell check. That would help a lot. I know I can set my Outlook to do it, so why not DU posts?
